SegaShiro: Pure SEGA HARDCORE!

Hot off the heels of strange and cryptic twitter messages of “What goes around comes around;” the new announcement involving Valkyria Chronicles is that 4th DLC package is coming out for Western gamers. Everything points to the DLC being the package that was launched in Japan in September and it is titled: “Challenge from Team Edy.” 

The fan effort and sales spike that occurred after the initial DLC releases on the PS3 have given reason for Sega of America to continue to support the title in North America.

The DLC will hit the Playstation Network sometime in winter, 2010. However, 1up and Destructoid speculate that this means an early January release. Challenge from Team Edy contains 6 challenges and each one focuses on one class. CVG had this announcement:

“Today, Sega announces new downloadable content for Valkyria Chronicles on PS3. ‘Challenges from Team Edy’ will test your strategy skills in all new missions! The DLC content will be available Winter 2010.”

This should hold gamers over until the sequel launches on the PSP. However, that won’t stop us from telling SEGA we want more Valkyria Chronicles in HD.
