SegaShiro: Pure SEGA HARDCORE!

Toe Jam and Earl is a beloved title that most people associate with SEGA including SEGA themselves. Unfortunately, SEGA no longer owns the rights to the property. Does that mean that we will never see another Toe Jam and Earl game again?

Not if original creator Greg Johnson has anything to do with it, in a feature with Joystiq, Johnson spoke out about his interest to bring the funkatronic characters  to DS.

The characters still also have a chance to appear in SEGA ALLSTARS RACING as DLC – Johnson told Joystiq:

“[T]he option for including them [Toe Jam & Earl] as downloadable content is still open…Sega said they’re not ready to talk about that yet because they haven’t started making any definite plans, but they promised to give me a shout when they get there – so hopefully we’ll be able to work something out.”

Hopefully gamers will get to see this funky aliens again soon.
