Yesterday, I spent a whole day trying to find a better solution for doing DS reviews other than the stand-by video camera way but for whatever reason there are next to no solutions for getting good screen shots or video footage other than emulators (that is cheating) if you are an indie site.
There are ways to get awesome screens and footage but only the big corporations get to play with those toys – case in point, if you hit the jump you’ll see a ton of great screens from the upcoming Sonic Classic Collection on the DS that were spotted on Destructoid.
The game looks pretty much like the Genesis versions running on the DS. The save feature looks decent as well. Check out the screens if you don’t already own these games a thousand times or want to own them again:
Sonic has aged remarkably well…I think this is a good sign for Sonic 4!
