They also commend Sumo Digital for their work: “[Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing] characterizes itself well enough to stand out, not just as another me-too copy-kart, but as an echo of the great Sega racers of the past, with more complicated mechanics shrouded under the simple exterior.”
