Moar! NEOGAF Gossip on Sonic 4…
The intrepid gamers at NEOGAF have unearthed more potential information and/or gossip on the upcoming Sonic title.
First of all Jun Sunoue rumored to be working on the title as sound director and composer. If the meager screenshots were not evidence of this already, the level design is apparently inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which is a great place to start.
In that thought, the memorable “wrecking ball” boss will feature new attacks such as a ground smash and 360 degree swing attack.
The first episode will have four zones and contain 3 acts within each zone. Classic bonus stages return but there are no extra or superfluous mini-games. Future episodes may unlock skills for Sonic as the player progresses through the episodes.
I am just wondering how SEGA is going handle the price points and time frame for releasing each one – it seems to me that SEGA might walk away with more than $60 worth of cash for the complete DLC title (all of the rumored episodes) if they launch at 8oo pts – which was the company’s argument for not releasing a boxed version of the game.
Still, I would love a boxed retail version of the complete title.

I would gladly pay FULL RETAIL PRICE for a Dreamcast version. Mark my words, Sega, and make it happen, pleeeease? =D
I would love a DC version as well…but how could you ignore a full HD Sonic?
