Nintendo Everything dumped a bunch of scattered sentences on Sonic Colors on the internet which highlight some of the interesting information contained in Nintendo Power.

Two Zones were revealed  as Sweet Mountain and Tropical Reservoir which underscores the kid demographic as Sweet Mountain has hills of pastries. The game will also feature both 2D levels and 3D areas inspired by classic 16-bit  Sonic titles and the Sonic Unleashed daytime levels, respectively.

The DS version is looking to be similar to the previous  Sonic Rush titles however it will share similarities with the  designs of the Wii version. Sonic will be the only playable character however – Tails is a part of the story and Shadow may make a cameo.
