Nintendo Power had previously revealed that one of the power-up Wisps in Sonic Colors would be a drill item that allows Sonic to dig into the ground.

Famitsu revealed another power-up detail and that is the White Wisp which will turn Sonic into the “Cyan Laser” or into a blue beam of light that can bounce off the walls.
