SEGA of Japan has formally announced the upcoming Hostess models for the PSP entry who will lend their voices and likeness for the game.

According to Andriasang.com,  this announcement confirmed that 3D face scanning technology used in Yakuza 4 will be made available to the PSP version:

_{“The three will lend the game not just their voices, but their names and likenesses as well. This is first confirmation from Sega that the PSP entry in the series will make use of the 3D face capture technology that was used in PS3′s Yakuza 4.”}

Good to see the high-profile and powerful technology being utilized again. Andriasang.com also has profiles on the three idols that will portray the hostesses on their site.

One model, Yuu Tejima, has harnessed all the power of her pheromones and placed them into her digital character for you to fall in love with…I think we are going to have to wait for smell-o-vision before video games can do  olfactory chemosignals.
