NOT-A-SEGA: We Are Sex BOB-OMB!
I’m coming off a total Scott Pilgrim binge…six books and the movie. I really wanted to support the movie release with cash – it being a film filled with gaming references, blatant No More Heroes style wackiness, and my home city.
The movie was quite an enjoyable little romp and I might have actually enjoyed the film narrative over the comics – though the books had far more story. However, what stuck with me the most was the BECK arranged music for the movie – it sounds just like that Garage band you always loved that may be a bit sucky but exceed their sucky-ness by being beyond awesome. You now -way past cool.
I loved everytime Kim counted in and yelled SEX BOB-BOMB! I gotta get the soundtrack. I’ll probably pick up the game sooner than later.

The game is… a bit of a mixed bag. Some people I know love it, and some hate it. Definitely try out the demo though, I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it’s a definite visual success.
I love the chiptune music in the first level. It has a real River City Ransom feeling to it and I think the game feels better with more people playing co-op.
However, I want to try it on Xbox 360 before committing it.
The music in the film is great, though I think I actually prefer the chip music from the game. The song on the first level is insanely awesome and so so catchy.
