Beating Soul Calibur with a Dreamcast Fishing Rod!

As promised via the podcast [episode #3 - with Gagaman(n)] here is a straight run of me beating Soul Calibur with the fishing rod – retries and all. The total time wasted = 23 minutes. I did it as a picture-in-picture deal so make sure to watch the upper left hand side.
I didn’t have a VMU plugged in and I didn’t touch the settings…I just straight launched into Arcade mode with Kilik. Only Nightmare and the last boss gave me any real trouble but my arm was a little sore by the last rounds. And finally…if you think this is hardcore you haven’t seen DHXIII playing Columns past level 100.
At one point the controller gave me a disconnect screen because I was shaking so furiously and I had to check the input on the Dreamcast. I also tried to use the analog stick sparingly. A Sonic plushy may also make an appearance.
Special message to DarrenIndeed…your turn! Muwhahahahaha! SEGASHIRO staff are so cwazy!

Whoo, nice one!
I’m totally gonna beat your time =P What difficulty was it on?
I warn you now, my video will not be nearly as good as this. I have a reaaaaally bad, VERY old video capture card that will only work with RF, and my DC’s RF cable is dead. So it will just be a camera on me and the screen…
The difficulty was set to whatever it is when you load up the title for the first time.
I also didn’t practice…it was one take and one try (well, with retries).
Can’t wait to see you master this Darren…
Haha, it’s only fair I do the same as you, no practice, default settings. But one thing is for sure.
YOU MUST DIE! I ALONE AM BEST.
HAHAHHAHAHA! But my soul will still burn!
At least until the actual 1-on-1 fishing rod fight-off =P
