Rumor: Sonic Colors Has 2P Action? WTF?!

GoNintendo has posted some pictures of Sonic Colors and one looks particularly strange. What is exactly going on in this strange picture above with two bars and two ring counters and two Sonics? Is it (cue stylish suspense laden music) a two player mode in Sonic Colors?

Perhaps…nobody is certain at this point but many are speculating. As for throwing completely random suggestions into the pot…I’m going to say that this picture is depicting Sonic racing NEGA-Sonic in grey Lego zone.

SEGA of Japan Sonic Colors Trailer & Gettenka Card

Not to sure if this Sonic Colors trailer is new for us or not in the West but it was recently uploaded by SEGA of Japan.

I could check to see if it is up already but I am typing this from a keyboard made of paper in the middle of an alley facing against the most fearsome of silicon foes.

Either way…you can enjoy more Sonic Colors…and there ain’t nothing wrong with that! Otherwise SEGA of Japan announced the release date for that region which will fall on November 18. Japanese customers won’t be getting the Sonic Hat but rather a game card: Read the rest of this entry »

Rollin’ With The Pink Wisp in Sonic Colors

SEGA has released some new information of on the little WISP power-ups that you can utilize in the game. SEGA announced the PINK WISP which gives Sonic the power to roll wherever you want!

Here is the official press release of the power-up:

Sonic is not the only one with spikes in Sonic Colors! Check out the Color Power of the latest Wisp to be revealed; Pink Wisp and its Sonic-like spikes! When Sonic absorbs Pink Wisp, he can use “Pink Spike” Color Power, meaning he has much stronger spikes. Pink Spike makes the most of the spikes and is able to stick to any wall and ceilings! Exclusive to the Nintendo Wii version of the game, Pink Wisp helps Sonic explore new routes in a brand new way through certain levels of the game.
