Sonic 4, Episode II Still Coming Says Iizuka
Anyone still remember Sonic 4, episode I? You know that successful 2D Sonic title where the physics were wonky but was still fun once you stopped self-flagellating? The sequel is coming soon if you ask Takashi Iizuka.
In an interview with Siliconera, he stated:
“We named Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, so there will be an episode 2. Since this year is the 20th anniversary of Sonic we wanted to focus on Sonic Generations…We don’t have a release date or anything…But, we can tell you it will be in the near future.”
HAHAHAHHAHA. I love his seemingly unfailing logic of ‘We named it Sonic 4,episode I …so there will be another’ because it is not like SEGA has never promised us a trilogy before and not delivered on the final episode. Right?
SHENMUE I MISS YOU! Oh, and I am stoked to meet Metal Sonic in Sonic 4, Episode II. My question is will it come to the Wii-U or the Wii?

Buy generic MotiliumWii U Offers SEGA Asymmetrical Gameplay and Power
The Wii-U is an intriguing system in the sense that power under its hood is not quite understood. Some have suggested that it is 50% more powerful than the PS3 (whatever that means) while others have said that it is at least as powerful as the Xbox 360 (again, whatever that means).
In terms of gameplay dynamics, the system offers a wide range of pssibilites. The dual screens had me thinking of an HD version of Phoneix Wright and ports of SEGA’s touch screen arcade titles like Border Break and Primeval Hunt.
SEGA’s Gary Dunn sees lots of potential in the system stating to IGN that the Wii-U is “quite different” than the PS3 and Xbox 360, it is also “quite powerful…a good system to develop for.” One of the SEGA engineers has ported a title to the system rather quickly. Read the rest of this entry »

Buy cheap VerapamilConduit 2 – Ask a Drudge! Part 1 & 2!
It is funny…I was told off by a few people that my Conduit 2 review was wrong because they thought it was the funniest FPS they had ever played. They were usually under 13 and their moms could take their Wiis away when they don’t finish their homework. I’m guessing their gaming experience is rather low.
I said that Conduit 2 was techincally sound and an improvement over the earlier title on many levels but I’d still take the Hollywood voice acting talent of Mark A. Sheppard, William Morgan Sheppard, and Kevin Sorbo any day. But then again I actually enjoyed the first game – I replayed sections of it the other day and it is a much faster run-and-gun game.
Anyway, I’m glad the game has found its niche somewhere. That said, I found these videos funnier than the game – it’s too bad they didn’t hit the web earlier – it might me in the right mindset for the cheesy, cornball antics in the game. Read the rest of this entry »
Buy FulvicinMario & Sonic At The London Olympics Screens, Details!
Spong.com has a preview up of SEGA’s new London olympics game, written by none other than Dreadknux of SonicStadium and co-organiser of Summer of Sonic.
Available on both Wii and 3DS, there are several new sports added this time around. So far, SEGA has only announced Football, Horse riding, Badminton and Canoeing, but there are more yet to be announced. Also a vastly improved set of Dream Events are included, featuring more of a video game set up than the slightly exaggerated sports that the Dream Events previously equated to.
Spong also have an interview with a number of people involved with the games. It’s worth a read, too! Read the rest of this entry »
