This is a stirring, evocative trailer for Gears of War IV…wait no, no – my mistake – it’s for Dead Island II. Ah, shit! Sorry let me explain, I am so used to everything cribbing from Aliens that I get confused when SEGA’s marketing department unleashes a trailer that makes Gearbox’s Alien title look like a melting pot of 2011 titles.  What is with all that slow motion and music? The game is still pretty, though.

There is a huge range of Sonic-based content that has just landed on digital download services for PC. Above and below you will see a Metal Sonic costume and Tails’ Tails accessory for Spiral Knights, a game I don’t play nearly enough. How do you get them? Well, you buy the PC version of Sonic CD (also just released) before February 1st!

Yakuza has always been a series of extremes – when you weren’t punching a dude in the face you were often taking care of young girl or finding her puppy’s food. Of course, you could also just completely goof off and play the variety of mini-games.

You can visit the picture booth with your favorite NPC, you can hit up the batting cage, unwind from a long day with some pole-dancing, and gamble. Yes, there is lots of gambling:  ”new activities in Black Panther 2 include roulette, cho-han, slot machines, and golf. ”

This would make for a potentially interesting Wii-U title as the touchscreen interface is already built into that console. If Nintendo’s online gameplay infrastructure is solid it could quite an epic and frantic experience.
