Phantasy Star Online 2 Pushed Back to 2012 in Japan
The alpha tests on Phantasy Online 2 are done and in response to fan feedback, the team at SEGA are extending the development time to incorporate many of the features that were commented about by fans.
“Famitsu.com posted an interview where Sakai said that the team received over 20,000 opinions and requests from alpha test players regarding all areas of the game, including the action component, the user interface and controls, the communication component, the quest component and the character create component.”
There is another alpha test scheduled in 2012. It will be followed by a Beta test. There has still been no announcement for the West but even if it were to come – it’d probably be months after the Japanese release. Check out more screens: here.

There you have it…Valve hasn’t touched the character in years and SEGA is bringing him back in a twin stick shooter. The game will retail for US$15.00, £9.99, €12.99, or AUD$ 20.00 on STEAM.

STEAM has a massive SEGA sale and Alpha Protocol is only US$2.00 and AvP is US$5.00. The Total War Mega Pack is US$17. Pretty much the whole collection is on sale…in fact you can buy the collector’s pack for US$80.
Single Genesis titles range from 75 cents to a 1.25! That includes Landstalker, Shining Force, Shining in the Darkness, Alien Soldier, and Light Crusader at under a buck.
If your PC can handle Alpha Protocol…definitely give it a go. Sure, it was a bit janky but it was also fun and intriguing nonetheless. I am still sad I will never get to see sequel. The sale is on until September 27!
