JerryTerrifying! We salute you!
Buy generic Levitra ProfessionalThe SEGA Saturn Netlink League!
I’ve been playing a lot of Duke Nukem across two consoles. I picked the XBLA version and I am rifling through the Saturn edition as well. The Saturn port of Duke is an incredible piece of software – really it is only dated by the lack of a 2nd analog stick on the Saturn 3D pad.
The Crunk and I got to discussing the ramifications of Netlink and wondered if the direct dial technology would still work today. Here are our findings:
1. It does work!
2. It has outlasted Xbox Live on the Original Xbox
3. There is a League of Extraordinary Gaming Gentlemen still using it!

Cyberbots may be one of best but forgotten fighters on the Saturn (after all there were a lot of them). It featured huge robots kicking arse with huge combo counts. Capcom is bringing it and Star Gladiator to the Japanese PSN Game Archive. Both will be priced for 600 yen each.
The games will be heading to the service on Feb. 9, 2011! Hit the jump for more full metal madness: Read the rest of this entry »

“A teaser for the Saturn version of Virtua Fighter 3, judging by the quality of the models and camera angles these are all cut-scenes with a bit of post production applied.”

Spotted on Destructoid, this little piece of Guardian Heroes art is amazing. If Treasure were to ever to do an HD remake the classic beat-em-up/RPG/freaking amazing title…well, it better look like this art render.

Cool Look Inside a Prototype Saturn Controller
This is a pretty neat look inside of a controller…if you have never had the chance to look into one before. Unfortunately, I’ve killed a couple controllers in my time with ill-guided attempts to fix them.
While the results were bad these forays were at least educational.

The folks at nightsintodreams.com managed to score an interview with none other than Yuji Naka himself. The main man took time out of busy schedule of promoting Ivy the Kiwi? on DS and Wii to discuss one of his most loved creations: NiGHTS.
“My initial goal has been reached and there may be more wonderful things happening. So many people loved NiGHTS for such a long time. I felt very happy throughout my career as a game creator, that the game influenced and touched the hearts of so many. Thank you so much for loving NiGHTS.”
You should head over to interview and read the whole thing as it is a wonderful read. I didn’t know that Canadian created Cirque du Soleil and Jung’s theories helped to inspire the game but now that I know I can see it. Also, be sure to sign the message board so SEGA can see that we want a port of the original title. Go, go, go!
