Binary Domain Hollow Child Cutscene – Pure Yakuza Studio Storytelling…
I was absolutely riveted while watching this cutscene. I love that SEGA freely goes into subtitles for the Japanese section. Next week can’t come soon enough.

Yakuza’s Shun Akiyama, Ryuji Goda and Goro Majima Are All in Binary Domain’s Multiplayer!
SEGA loves crossovers and tie-ins (I certainly enjoy the former) and Yakuza Studio is notorious for doing both! In Japan at least, the game will feature downloadable multiplayers skin that include Yakuza Of the End’s Shun Akiyama, Ryuji Goda, and Goro Majima.
They are all packing immense firepower and by simply existing in the future of Binary Domain they prove that the Yakuza have mastered both time and aging. Check out the screens as they look quite nice. The characters will come as DLC:
“The release of the three characters is being staggered. PS3 buyers will get Akiyama on February 28, Goda on March 6 and Majima on March 13. Xbox 360 buyers will get all three on March 13. The characters will be free.”
The screen slideshow also shows a variety of the “tie-ins” SEGA of Japan lined up for the game. It also gives a nice overview of the environments but watch to the end to see the bad ass characters in the environments.

Under Defeat Gameplay Trailer
This is a seven minute long gameplay trailer for Under Defeat. It looks quite nice in widescreen and harkens back to the shmups by Toaplan like Twin Cobra.
The game is set coming to Xbox and PS3 in Japan next week. The game originally launched on the Dreamcast in 2006.

SEGA Europe’s Binary Domain “Slum Children” Cutscene
It is taking me a while to get used to the voice of Dan in Binary Domain but that could be because I’m so used to Nolan North voicing every male protagonist.
The video seems stilted at first but watch the full four minutes – it might make a believer at of you by the end.

Sonic 4, Episode II – Screen Slide Show
Whether it was by accident or viral marketing, screen captures of Sonic 4, Episode II were leaked onto the internet by Microsoft Xbox.com listing page. The images were quickly pulled (but not before the internet had a hold on them) and then SEGA responded by unveiling a set of screens of their own.
