I have a new place to visit on my eventual Japan trip! SEGA Toys have announced that “Japanese restaurant chain Yoronotaki will be installing Toirettsu at forty of its restaurants. The location test will feature two mini-games for men to urinate on.”

Hooray! The device and the games are still in development for a late fall release. Remember that this is all for the good cause of getting people to get their waste into the bowl and not on the floor, their shoes, and/or their pants.

Now, SEGA just needs to create a game that involves washing ones’ hands!

SEGA fans have been known to do some wild things to show their love…like collecting 2000 signatures for the release of Valkyria Chronicles III or running a SEGA website when they get their pay cheques from Nintendo.

Here is an interesting one – A manager at an adult “eroge” video game store in Japan’s Akihabara district wants to personally sell Shinobi 3DS pre-orders despite the game not fitting into the typical material they sell.

It’s been 15 years for the Sakura Wars series and while some may say it is an acquired taste – I’m a little sad that only one title made it over to the West.

However, the series is quite popular in Japan and for the 25th Anniversary developer RED is teaming up with Good Smile Company to release SD figures!

The Tokyo Game Show was a stellar success the past weekend with over 222,600 people attending the convention center to check out the latest games and announcements.

The PSVita revealed some great information in the fact that like the PSP it will be region-free and the device will have a better updating system than the PS3.

SEGA didn’t really shock too much with by announcing Monkey Ball for the PSVita but the 3DS will know also be a home for Miku. There was some chatter about bringing Yakuza Of the End to the West but it was all kind of insinuated and not confirmed. Of course, Phantasy Star Online 2 drew lots of attention.  The SEGA blogs have posted a nice set of photos: here.

The server in the States went done but as you can see, the site is working! Now, for those don’t SEGASHIRO is a bit of a global effort – DarrenIndeed in the UK, I’m in Canada, Radcrap is from the nether region, and Crunk – super awesome tech guy – is studying in China (for now).

Now here is the interesting part, I emailed him that the server went down and have sent him responses to his email messages. The last 2 of them bounced back and I can’t be sure that he ever got any of them. I am however receiving his emails. I wonder why I was blocked.

This is peculiar but they don’t allow Youtube over there – that is why the Angry Bird attraction at The Window of the World park “serves as a method for people to purge themselves and to gain happiness.”

Meet Cotorich – a 26 year old photographer/idol that also likes to cosplay as Hatsune Miku. Check out her blog…I stumbled upon her video while trying to make a mash-up video. The strange start-up and punch dancing hypnotized me into a eyebrow-raised stare. She has a very soft voice.
