Say what you will about the DIVA that never ages, never gets tired, and will never have a drug problem but this “live” show is pretty damn ingenious. After the jump there is even a song where she introduces the live band. How cool is that? Script in some costume changes and finale and you got a winner! Seeing it live is very fascinating.

The footage comes from a live DVD being sold in Japan. The track is World is Mine. Here are just a smattering of facts about the Miku Hatsune and company that blew my mind:

In 2009, the album “Miku’s Best Memories” along with the song titled “Melt” were downloaded more than 4 million times and sold 56,000 copies in just one week. The album hit 4th on Oricon hit chart (ORICON is the most popular music hit chart in Japan) and also won THE JAPAN GOLD DISC AWARD 2009.

I have not been following Sonic Free Riders too closely until I realized that there is a mode where I can hold hands and thrust at my Asian girlfriend whilst playing the game. Thrusting with my pelvic region at girl is always a win.

I don’t have an Asian girlfriend but that fact remains that this may be the first thing I do once I find my very own Knives Chau. Muwhhahahaha! Sexy party time a la Free Riders! Also, the Japanese ad features totally radical 80s fonts and colors. What is not to love? Hit it!

Easily one of the best characters – both in terms of her abilities to fight for justice and bake delicious bread – Alicia from the first Valkyria Chronicles is now  available for pre-order in PVC form.

Alicia has been known to steal a few sighs from me – I’m still looking for my real life Alicia…I thought I met her once – but this PVC figure is downright classy compared to a lot of other ones out there. Lot of great details though it does seem to pull more from the anime than the game.

If you are a regular reader of SEGASHIRO, you might remember that I said I was contacting Hori USA to see if I could somehow get a set of Virtual On Twin Sticks pre-ordered and shipped over.

Why? Because it is hard to play Virtual On any other way and because well, I thought it would be fun to try. The team at Hori USA (who are all based out of Japan it seems) went above and beyond to help me out.
