WTF?! Wheatus’ Teenage Dirtbag Mega Drive Remix
Today I’ve been stuck inside (on a freaking Saturday) doing more off hours work than should be legal. It has led me to the dark corners of my music past as I’ve been looking for tunes to groove with while slaying the “to-do” list.
It started with some Gin Blossoms (how have I not owned a album after all these years?) but it quickly spiraled into the truly dark recesses of my teen years and that is when I found Teenage Dirtbag remixed with the Genesis sound chip. How crazy cool and geeky is that?
I used to dig that song but I sold the CD because it was the only song worth listening to on it. I may just have to buy it on iTunes. If you aren’t old enough to remember the original…be warned it is annoyingly catchy and has appeared in Generation Kill.
The music is mixed by Youtuber TheLengendofRenegade and his stuff is wicked. Check out the Mega Drive mix of Police’s Roxanne after the jump: Read the rest of this entry »
Buy cheap DulcolaxHatsune Miku Append DLC heads to Idol Master
The last minute and 22 seconds of the video is dedicated to Miku and her new but classic costume. I gotta say I do dig the cell-shaded graphics for the vocaloids – I wonder if SEGA will go that route for the PSVita version. Read the rest of this entry »
Buy Cialis JellyGoogle Chrome: Hatsune Miku TV Spot
Hatsune Miku has been a part of the Google Chrome campaign from the beginning as her theme was the first one I ever downloaded back when the browser was first introduced. Now that the browser is getting quite popular the TV ads are featuring (so-called) stars like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
Japan however gets Hatsune Miku…and that is just awesome. I can’t think of a better pop icon to promote the web.

Buy Dilantin without a prescriptionSEGA celebrating Hatsune Miku in March
SEGA will be appreciating the virtual pop idol in Japan with an event that seems to include a performance!
“The Appreciation Festival event will be held at Tokyo Dome City Hall. The first day is the Hatsune Miku Live Party 2012 event. The second day is the Hatsune Miku concert event. Both days have afternoon and night showings. Tickets for each show run ¥6,300.”
I would think with tickets running in the US$80 range that it should be a concert that rivals the 39′s Giving Day event. SEGA of Japan has launched a website in support of the event.
